Chirp Body Hair Mask Review

Hello beautiful people!

Today I have been reviewing the ‘Softnest’ hair mask from Chirp Body. I received the pack in a monthly subscription box from The Vegan Kind and have only just got around to using it! I wanted to wait until my hair needed some TLC and it was worth the wait!

First, let’s talk about the packaging: minimal, functional and very cute; it is easy to use and store. Chirp takes waste into consideration so they use as little packaging as possible.

Now the ingredients: it is a 100% blend of natural oils: Coconut oil, Grapeseed oil, Castor seed oil, Olive fruit oil, Argan kernal oil, Jojoba fruit oil, Avocado oil, Grapefruit oil, Bergamot oil, Lemon oil, Tea Tree oil, Vanilla oil, Ylang Ylang flower oil *limonene *linalool *geraniol *citral (*natural component of essential oils) Yes this is vegan!

The oils intensely nourish and hydrate, and need to be massaged into your hair and scalp. My whole head feels amazing after the mask and it did wonders on my scalp. I usually develop dandruff very easily and the hair mask managed to clear about 90% of it!

Although the product can be used all over your hair, I think it is best used on damaged areas. So for me, it is best to focus on the scalp and clear away dandruff. If you have brittle, dry, or dyed hair it would be a great idea to run the oil through and leave it in for a while. I found that as my hair was in good condition it was hard to wash out, although I cannot fault it for adding shine and softness, it wasn’t needed and so I will save it for when my hair gets dried out. It is perfect for my scalp on a regular basis and will be vital once summer comes and I am forever in the sea.

I loved this hair mask, it is vegan, all natural, and will be able to get about 5 more uses out of the pack even with my hair which is pretty thick! It costs £17.95 and is available here.
